  1. Go to home screen
  2. Launch Settings
  3. Tap Face ID & Passcode
  4. Now enter your Passcode
  5. Tap Set Up Face ID
  6. Then tap Get Started
  7. Now position your face inside the circle
  8. Rotate your head around, slowly, in a circle
  9. Tap Continue
  10. Now move your head slowly, in a second circle
  11. Tap Done
  12. That’s it!

How to turn off attention mode for Face ID

Your iPhone X arrives with new Face ID for better security. But if you don’t really like it, you can turn it off. However, the Face ID system still has to be able to see your eyes, nose, and mouth in order to authenticate you. Here’s how to turn off attention mode for Face ID:
