iPhone X Manual Guide – Apple has just announced iPhone X in the company’s event at Cupertino, California. The company called it the future of the smartphone. The phone has 5.8-inch Super Retina display and is powered by A11 Bionic chip with Neural Engine. The phone is equipped with improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilization as well as wireless charging.

Featuring Face ID, the phone offers better security system for payments and a new way to unlock.  Jony Ive, Apple’s chief design officer said “For more than a decade, our intention has been to create an iPhone that is all display. The iPhone X is the realization of that vision,”

The iPhone X is made with glass and stainless steel and features the first OLED screen called the Super Retina Display. The phone is water and dust resistant and is available in Silver or Space Grey. No home button on the phone so you simply have to raise to wake the iPhone X, or tap the display.


The iPhone X has 5.8 inch Super Retina Display with an edge-to-edge finish. The screen has a 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio with wide color support as well as True Tone which will adjust the white balance to match the surrounding light.

The iPhone X is powered by A11 Bionic chip, neural engine, and M11 motion coprocessor, 64-bit processor with a battery with two hours longer use than the iPhone 7 Plus. The phone will have a wireless charging mat called AirPower to charge the phone.

Measuring 143.6mm x 70.9 x 7.7 mm, the phone has 5.8-inch OLED True Tone display with 2436 x 1125 resolution at 458 ppi, 625cd/m2 brightness, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (Super Retina display). Weighting 174g, it has 64GB and 256GB storage options, and is equipped with 12MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras with f/1.8 aperture as well as 7MP FaceTime camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The iPhone X runs iOS 11 and supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi‑Fi with MIMO, LTE Advanced, and Bluetooth 5.0. You can use the phone to pay using Face ID in stores, within apps, and on the web.

The new iPhone X arrives with some cool features like Facial recognition, Animoji!, Wireless charging and Brand new cameras. The phone also has the sharpest display ever on an iPhone with more than two million pixels.

The Facial recognition allows users to unlock simply by looking at it. This new feature can help users to secure their phones and payments more as Apple claimed that its face unlock uses 3-D imagery. The company also claimed that the face recognition is more secure than fingerprint locks.

Animoji! Is the next interesting features on the phone. Now users can create short clips of their emotions and send them off as emojis. The new iPhone supports wireless charging just like the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple is still working at it and will soon be available in stores within a few months.

The iPhone X arrives with brand new cameras, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and 7MP FaceTime camera. The new front-facing TrueDepth camera will allow users to take a more professional portrait shots.


The iPhone X price is more expensive than any other iPhone. Here’s the pricing:

  • 64GB : $999 or £999
  • 256GB : $1,149 or £1,149
  • Apple’s iPhone Upgrade program starts at $49.91, but includes AppleCare+.
  • Verizon and AT&T : $42 a month

Pre order and Release Date

The pre order of the iPhone X will start on Friday, October 27 in more than 55 countries and territories. The phone will be available in stores beginning Friday, November 3.
